Socialites

Privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026 · Socialites is a service of ARVIS, South Africa · hello@arvis.co.za

We take your privacy and your customers’ privacy seriously, and we process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your account details (name, email, business details), the content you create in Socialites, and usage information needed to run the service. If you connect social accounts, we receive access tokens from our posting partner, never your passwords. When people buy from or sign up on your Link in Bio page, we store the details they submit (name, email, cellphone, order) and, for sign-ups, the time they gave marketing consent.

Why we use it

To provide and improve Socialites: writing and publishing your content, running your shop and reports, billing, support and security. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Socialites, under contract: Paystack (payments), Anthropic (AI writing), Higgsfield (AI images), our social posting partner (Upload-Post or Ayrshare), and our hosting provider. Some of these process data outside South Africa, with appropriate safeguards.

Your customers’ information

For sign-ups and orders on your page, you are the responsible party and we are your operator. You decide how to use your audience list, and you must honour unsubscribe requests.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security and retention

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls. We keep information while your account is active and for as long as the law requires afterwards.
