Socialites Insider rules

These rules apply to the Socialites Insider campaign ("the campaign"). Taking part means you accept them. Version of 31 October 2026.

1. Who runs it

Bouhman Export and Import (Pty) Ltd, trading as ARVIS (registration 2019/426265/07), Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, the operator of Socialites ("we"). Contact: hello@socialites.co.za.

2. Dates

The campaign runs from 31 October 2026 to 30 November 2026 at 23:59 South African time. Top prizes are announced and awarded by 5 December 2026.

3. Who can take part

• South African residents aged 18 or older who run, own, represent or market a business, brand or creator account.
• Not open to directors, employees and contractors of ARVIS or of the companies that help run Socialites, or their immediate families.
• One person and one business, one entry. Several entries by the same person or business are combined or removed.

4. No payment, no lucky draw

Taking part is free. No purchase is needed and no card is asked for. Rewards are earned by reaching milestones and prizes are decided by the counts and judging set out below. Nothing is decided by lot or chance.

5. How friends count

• Join the waiting list to receive a personal link.
• A friend counts when they join the waiting list through your link and confirm their email (or create a Socialites account), during the campaign dates.
• These do not count: your own other email addresses (including dotted and "+" Gmail versions), throwaway email services, sign-ups from your own internet connection, more than 2 sign-ups from any one connection, and anyone who is not a real business, brand or creator.
• Unusual patterns, such as more than 15 confirmed friends in a day, are checked by a person before any prize.
• You must confirm your own email to receive rewards.

6. Rewards

• Each counted friend moves you 5 places up the waiting list (not into the top 10 places).
• 3 counted friends: the Insider Pass, 14 days of Socialites Growth with 60 credits. During the Pass you post yourself; automatic posting is not included.
• 10 counted friends: Insider Plus, the Pass extended to 30 days in all, with 100 more credits.
• If you already have a Socialites account, rewards are added to it as credits.
• Codes are single-use, personal and expire 45 days after they are sent.

7. Top prizes

• Top referrers: the 5 people with the most counted friends when the campaign closes, who have at least 10. A tie is decided by who reached the number first.
• Best posts: the 3 best public posts about Socialites, posted during the campaign on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Threads or a business Facebook Page, tagging @socialites_sa with #SocialitesInsider, and entered on your Insider page (up to 5 posts each). A panel of at least two people from the Socialites team judges them on: creativity and originality (40%), how clearly the post shows what Socialites does (40%), and genuine engagement (20%). Bought or fake engagement, misleading claims, or content that breaks a network's rules rules a post out. The panel's decision is final.
• Each prize: 3 months of Socialites Growth free, with automatic posting and the plan's monthly credits, delivered as a single-use code. It cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. If you already pay for a plan, we add the months to your account instead.
• One top prize per person. Winners are told by email and must claim within 30 days; unclaimed prizes go to the next eligible person.

8. Sharing honestly

Share your link however you like. You never have to share on a personal Facebook timeline or tag anyone. When you post because you get a reward, say so (our captions include "I get early access perks if you join"). Do not spam people, buy sign-ups, or say things about Socialites that are not true.

9. Publicity

We only name or show winners who agree. You may decline any publicity and still receive your prize. The public leaderboard hides business names unless the business chooses to show its name.

10. Removing entries

We may remove entries, counts or rewards obtained by fake sign-ups, automation, multiple identities or anything that breaks these rules, and may cancel a code that was gained that way.

11. The networks

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and Threads are not involved in this campaign and do not sponsor, endorse or administer it. By entering a post you release them from any claim about it.

12. Your information

We use your details to run the campaign and to send you your link, rewards and Socialites news you asked for, under our privacy policy (POPIA). We store a scrambled version of your internet connection address, not the address itself, only to stop fake sign-ups. We keep campaign records for three years.

13. Changes

If we must change or end the campaign early for reasons outside our control, we will post the change here and honour every reward already earned.
